Belinda J. Mitchell holds degrees from Alabama State University and Minnesota Graduate
School of Theology in Social Welfare and Biblical Studies, respectfully. She has
over 25 years of work experience in the Social Service field. She is has the NationalCFLE
credential (Certified Family Life Educator) and is also trained and certified in
six different marriage and relationship curricula.
Belinda is currently the Center
Director for Alabama's first and largest Family Services Center in Dothan, AL, where
she also serves as a Marriage and Relationship Educator. Her past work experience
includes having been the Executive Director of a non-profit 24-hr Crisis Center
in Lawton, Oklahoma, Coordinator of the Army Family Advocacy Program in Schwaebish
Gmuend, W. Germany and Parental Involvement Specialist for the Dothan City Schools
System.She is married to a retired U.S. Marine and the mother of two.
Personal Interests: Traveling, fishing, writing fiction, social/community support
activities for women.
